The dislocation log is public and updates on every poll, and the daily spread report goes out on the channel. Alerts add one thing on top: the event reaches you as it opens instead of as a summary.
Limits after launch: at most 40 alerts per day per user, merged when a burst is noisy. Access is re-checked every 10 minutes and alerts pause with a notice rather than failing silently.
